Mortgage Originator -  Full Time Position - Location: Acton

New Position

Full Time - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Weekends as needed.

Description / Responsibilities - Generate loans by counseling borrowers to determine the product and/or program which best fulfills their needs. Meet with real estate brokers and other industry-related professionals to inform them of WCU products and services, as well as receive feedback on financial products needed in community and for potential members. Represent the credit union at community and industry events, such as Home Shows, Chamber of Commerce and Board of Realtor functions. Visit Bank-At-Work companies to provide pre-approval or mortgage and home equity products to potential borrowers. Maintain confidentiality of all data. Three years of mortgage related experience, including knowledge of all types of residential mortgage loans, reverse mortgages, and lending policies. Must have proven record of building relationships with clients through effective communication skills in an outgoing and friendly manner. Exceptional attention to details and follow-thru to ensure optimum member satisfaction is essential. Junior Investment Representative - Full Time Position - Location: Lunenburg

Full Time - Variable 40 hours per week Monday to Friday includes Saturday and evening hours.

Description / Responsibilities - Assist the Insurance & Investment Representative to service members by assessing their financial position and goals. Provide information and advice on the purchase or sale of investment and insurance products that best suit the individual need of the member/client. Follow all regulatory directives in accordance with current laws, rules, and regulations of the National Assoc of Securities Dealers, Securities & Exchange Commission, MA Division of Banks, National Credit Union Admin and other applicable government agencies. Attend business development activities and client meetings as well as organize and participant in public investment and insurance education seminars. Collect data and maintain various reports to accurately track all sales activity and related information. One-year experience in a sales role within the financial services industry. Ability to analyze financial information to assist with investment and financial planning activities. Knowledge of investment products such as mutual funds, annuities, life insurance, employer-sponsored retirement plans, credit union products / services, and related automated technology. Effective communicator, able to be aware of and responsive to members needs. Friendly and highly motivated demeanor. Ability to handle detailed work quickly and efficiently to maintain and grow member / client relationships. Able to travel regularly by car at distances up to 50 miles. Collections Representative - Full Time Position - Location: Fitchburg

Full Time - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday – 2 days 10:00 am – 7:00 pm, 3 days 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and        *Occasional Saturdays.

Description / Responsibilities - Contact members by telephone, in writing, and on occasion meet with them in person to determine appropriate action to resolve delinquent account status. Monitor loan quality to achieve lowest possible delinquency and charge-off ratios. Maintain contact with legal counsel and repossession agents. Monitor and maintain Bankruptcy Accounts. Adhere to established policies and procedures and regulations governing lending/collection activities. Prepare repossessions and legal accounts as well as perform skip tracing on personal loans and vehicles loan when member skips with the car, stops paying or moves from the address on file. Maintain confidentiality of all data. Minimum of one year previous experience with knowledge of Collection practices and regulations such as the Fair Debt Collection Act, as well as bankruptcy law and court procedures. Professional and persuasive communication style including excellent telephone skills. Ability to work independently. Highly motivated and team orientated. Ability and interest in researching problems and determining solutions. Proficiency with computer (Excel & Microsoft Word) required.

Online Manager – Newly Created Position- Full Time Position - Location: Fitchburg

New Position

Full Time - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Description / Responsibilities - Provide WCU members and staff with technical support for all online products and services, which include account openings, loan applications, social networking sites, search engines, and product development. Manage the administration of online products such as Experion, mobile banking, home banking, bill payment, online account opening and funding, online loan process, co browse, online chat and other services obtained from vendors providing online financial information. Manage changes to WCU Website. Administer member and market communications with Eblasts and surveys. Work with Auditors to ensure WCU website and its content are in compliance with regulations and internal policies. Supervise staff to include coaching, training, and conducting performance evaluations to ensure a collaborative team environment and successful results. Maintain confidentiality of all data. Five years of banking experience in a management role, preferably in a call center environment. This position requires results-oriented interaction with a wide variety of people, including staff, WCU members and potential members, and outside vendors. Pro-active and collaborative management ability to attain department and strategic goals through involvement with staff and hands-on efforts. Effective communicator, whether verbally or written, to stimulate and motivate others to achieve results. Working knowledge of the Internet and social networking venues. Bilingual skills, specifically in Spanish, Portuguese and/or Hmong, a plus. Exceptional attention to details and follow-thru to ensure optimum member satisfaction is essential. Teller - 2 Part Time Position's - Location's: Chelmsford, Leominster (Twin City)

Part Time - Chelmsford 15 hours per week - Monday - Friday 11:30am to 2:30pm. Occasional Saturdays 8:45am to 12:15pm.

Part Time - Leominster (Twin City) 24 Hours per week - Monday 1:00pm to 6:15pm; Tuesday 10:00am to 6:15pm;
Thursday 1:00pm to 7:15pm; Saturday 9:00am to 3:15pm.
 

Description / Responsibilities - Provide excellent service to members. Process all member transactions efficiently and accurately including deposits, withdrawals, loans and transactions for other WCU products/services. Balance cash drawer and ensure accurate settlement of days activities. Cross sell and make referrals for all credit union products and services. Maintain confidentiality of all member and credit union information and data. Assist members by answering basic questions. Assist new Tellers. Cross train to open new accounts, accept and process loan applications. Complete or assist in Branch recap and balancing of ATM. Required skills: Attention to detail. General office knowledge including basic math skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to present a professional image. A minimum of six months previous cash handling experience is preferred. Financial Service Representative - Part Time Position - Location: Chelmsford 

Part Time - 15 hours - Monday to Friday 8:45am to 3:00pm and Saturdays 8:45am to 12:15pm.

Description / Responsibilities - Provide excellent service to members. Performs various duties related to consumer loan origination, underwriting and closing of loans following WCU policies and procedures. Open and service all types of WCU deposit accounts. Provide manager with information from members and competitors. Provides manager with information for potential business. Cross-sell all WCU products based on member needs including Investment and Insurance Center, Heritage Insurance referrals and loan payment protection. Maintain a working knowledge of WCU products, services, rates, and fees. Maintains knowledge of competitor rates and products. Maintain confidentiality of all member and credit union information and data One year of banking or sales experience. Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to IRA'S, deposit accounts, and consumer loans. Underwriting skills including the ability to interpret credit reports and tax returns as well as make sound and fair lending decisions. Senior Teller - Full Time Position - Location: Lunenburg 

Full Time - 37.25 hours - Monday 8:30am to 5:15pm, Wednesday 8:45am to 5:15pm, Thursday 8:30am to 7:15pm, Friday 7:45am to 5:15pm and Saturday 8:30am to 12:15pm.

Description / Responsibilities - Provide excellent service to members. Perform teller duties as required. Assist Branch Operation Coordinator in assigning duties to teller staff. Assist in training and coaching new tellers in a positive manner as well as resolve balancing errors and other operational matters. Balance main cash vault and maintain check logs and traveler checks. Maintain supplies for teller area. In the absence of Branch Operation Coordinator, assume responsibility for teller staff and related duties. In conjunction with the Branch Manager and BOC, ensure a safe, secure working environment for staff and visiting members and ensure operational efficiency in the branch following established operating/security procedures. Maintain confidentiality of all member and credit union information and data. Two years Teller experience with accurate balancing record. Strong attention to detail, as well as basic math and general office skills required. Must have professional communication skills both verbally and in writing. Ability to organize duties and assist in training other tellers. Ability to direct the work of others and organize a daily work schedule. Must be able to use good judgment to recognize and resolve member problems. High School diploma or equivalent required. Apply Online
