New Position

Junior Investment Representative - Full Time Position - Location: Lunenburg

Full Time - Variable 40 hours per week Monday to Friday includes Saturday and evening hours.

Description / Responsibilities - Assist the Insurance & Investment Representative to service members by assessing their financial position and goals. Provide information and advice on the purchase or sale of investment and insurance products that best suit the individual need of the member/client. Follow all regulatory directives in accordance with current laws, rules, and regulations of the National Assoc of Securities Dealers, Securities & Exchange Commission, MA Division of Banks, National Credit Union Admin and other applicable government agencies. Attend business development activities and client meetings as well as organize and participant in public investment and insurance education seminars. Collect data and maintain various reports to accurately track all sales activity and related information. One-year experience in a sales role within the financial services industry. Ability to analyze financial information to assist with investment and financial planning activities. Knowledge of investment products such as mutual funds, annuities, life insurance, employer-sponsored retirement plans, credit union products / services, and related automated technology. Effective communicator, able to be aware of and responsive to members needs. Friendly and highly motivated demeanor. Ability to handle detailed work quickly and efficiently to maintain and grow member / client relationships. Able to travel regularly by car at distances up to 50 miles. Bachelor’s degree Current NASD Series 6, 63, and MA Certified Life Insurance licenses required. Series 7 license preferred.  Apply Online


New Position

Mortgage Originator - 2 Full Time Position's -                                                

Full Time - 40 Hours per week. Monday to Friday and Weekends as needed.

Description / Responsibilities - Generate loans by counseling borrowers to determine the product and/or program which best fulfills their needs. Meet with real estate brokers and other industry-related professionals to inform them of WCU products and services, as well as receive feedback on financial products needed in community and for potential members. Represent the credit union at community and industry events, such as Home Shows, Chamber of Commerce and Board of Realtor functions. Visit Bank-At-Work companies to provide pre-approval or mortgage and home equity products to potential borrowers. Maintain confidentiality of all data. Three years of mortgage related experience, including knowledge of all types of residential mortgage loans, reverse mortgages, and lending policies. Must have proven record of building relationships with clients through effective communication skills in an outgoing and friendly manner. Exceptional attention to details and follow-thru to ensure optimum member satisfaction is essential. High School diploma or equivalent, plus formal coursework in mortgage lending required.  Apply Online


In-Store FSR/Teller - Part Time Position - Location: Leominster (Wal-Mart)

Part Time - 20.25 Hours per week. Wednesday 1:00pm – 7:15pm, Friday 9:45am – 7:15pm, Saturday 9:45am – 3:15pm.

Description / Responsibilities - Actively participate in sales oriented team to reach established individual and branch sales goals, which include loan and deposit growth, product sales and referrals. Walks throughout the Wal-Mart store at assigned intervals to promote business. Provide excellent member service in the following duties: Offer information to members to open new savings or checking accounts, IRA’s, and CD’s, Interview members seeking loans, complete loan applications process accordingly, Perform routine teller transactions and Maintain confidentiality of all member and credit union information and data. One year teller or retail cash handling experience with accurate balancing record required. Experience in a retail sales culture with proven sales closing skills preferred. Familiarity with opening new accounts and processing loans helpful, but will train. Knowledge of state and federal regulations including those pertaining to IRA’s, deposit accounts, consumer and mortgage loans. A positive attitude and charismatic personality, team player, and adaptable with regard to work schedules. Bilingual skills, specifically in Spanish, Portuguese and/or Hmong, a plus. FSR/Teller - Part Time Position - Location: Acton

Part Time - 13.5 Hours per week. Monday and Tuesday 11:15am to 4:15pm, Saturday 8:45am to 12:15pm. 

Description / Responsibilities - Provide excellent service to members. Process member transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Balance cash drawer on a daily basis. Assist members with safe deposit box access. Provide information to members and open new accounts as requested including checking, savings, certificates, IRA’s and other accounts. Cross-sell all WCU products and services. Interview members seeking loans, complete loan applications, and perform general processing duties. Maintain confidentiality of all member and credit union information and data. One year teller or cash handling experience with accurate balancing record. Experience with opening new accounts and processing loans helpful, but will train. Must have above average communication and time management skills. Ability to present a professional image. Bilingual skills, specifically in Spanish, Portuguese and/or Hmong, a plus. High School diploma or equivalent required. Apply Online


Assistant Branch Manager - Full Time Position - Location: Leominster (Twin City)

Full Time - 40 Hours per week. Monday – Friday; occasional Saturday.

Description / Responsibilities - Assists Branch Manager with the daily activity in the branch and has responsibility for branch when required. Provide excellent service to members. Perform duties related to consumer loan origination, underwriting and closing of loans following WCU policies and procedures. Assists members to open and service all types of WCU products based on their financial needs. Develop and maintain business through various business partners and community contacts. Participant in community organizations and events. Teller - Part Time Casual Position - Location: Townsend

Part Time Casual - 16.5 Hours per week. Monday, Thursday, Friday 11:00am – 3:15pm and Saturday 8:45am – 12:15pm.

Description / Responsibilities - A minimum of six months previous cash handling experience. General office knowledge including basic math skills. Attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Ability to present a professional image and friendly demeanor. Bilingual skills, specifically in Spanish, Portuguese and/or Hmong, a plus. High School diploma or equivalent required. Provide excellent service to members. Process all member transactions efficiently and accurately. Balance cash drawer and ensure accurate settlement of days activities. Cross sell and make referrals for all credit union products and services. Maintain confidentiality of all member and credit union information and data.
