Collections Manager - Full Time Position - Location: Fitchburg Collections Department

Full Time - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday.

Description / Responsibilities - Hands-on management of daily operations of department including personnel. Work with members to reduce overall delinquency and avoid potential losses to the credit union. Authorize and assign accounts to outside agencies or courts. Assess current procedures including software applications and recommend improvements as required. Monitor national and industry trends in collections and report to Senior Management. Oversee relationships with collection partners, i.e. attorneys, repossession firms, insurance companies. Manage preparation of reports to Board of Directors and other committees. Serve as compliance coordinator for collection department. Participates in community and trade groups. This position requires results-oriented interaction with a wide variety of people, including staff, attorneys, appraisers, repossession companies, and other vendors. Pro-active and collaborative management ability to attain department and strategic goals through involvement with staff and hands-on efforts. Effective communicator, whether verbally or written, to stimulate and motivate others to achieve results. Five years collection expertise with minimum of one year related positive supervisory practice. Knowledge of current collection related laws. Ability to work with various computer software products, including Smart Collector or similar programs. Must maintain a high standard of confidentiality.

Branch Operations Coordinator - Full Time Position - Location: Lunenburg

Full Time - 38 hours per week. 

Week #1 – Mon & Fri 8:45 am – 5:15 pm, Tues & Wed 8:30 am – 5:15 pm, Thurs 7:45 am – 4:15 pm.

Week #2 – Tues, Wed & Fri 8:30 am – 5:15 pm, Thurs 8:45 am – 7:15pm and Saturday 7:45 am – 12:15 pm.

Description / Responsibilities -

Teller - Part Time Position's - Location: Fitchburg, Lancaster and Leominster

Part Time (Fitchburg) - 26.75 hours per week.

Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri  11:00 am – 5:15 and Saturday 8:30am - 12:15pm.

 

Casual hours (Lancaster) - 16.5 hours per week.

Monday and Wednesdays  10am – 2pm, Friday 10am - 3pm and Saturdays 8:45am – 12:15.

 

Part Time (Leominster) - 24 hours per week.

Monday 1pm - 6:15pm, Tuesday 10am - 6:15pm, Thursday 1pm - 7:15pm and Saturday 9am - 3:15pm  

Description / Responsibilities - Provide excellent service to members. Process all member transactions efficiently and accurately including deposits, withdrawals, loans and transactions for other WCU products/services. Balance cash drawer and ensure accurate settlement of days activities. Cross sell and make referrals for all credit union products and services. Maintain confidentiality of all member and credit union information and data. Assist members by answering basic questions. Assist new Tellers. Cross train to open new accounts, accept and process loan applications. Complete or assist in Branch recap and balancing of ATM. Required skills: Attention to detail. General office knowledge including basic math skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to present a professional image. A minimum of six months previous cash handling experience is preferred.

Mortgage Originator - 2 Full Time Position's - Location: 

Full Time - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Weekends as needed.

Description / Responsibilities - Generate loans by counseling borrowers to determine the product and/or program which best fulfills their needs. Meet with real estate brokers and other industry-related professionals to inform them of WCU products and services, as well as receive feedback on financial products needed in community and for potential members. Represent the credit union at community and industry events, such as Home Shows, Chamber of Commerce and Board of Realtor functions. Visit Bank-At-Work companies to provide pre-approval or mortgage and home equity products to potential borrowers. Maintain confidentiality of all data. Three years of mortgage related experience, including knowledge of all types of residential mortgage loans, reverse mortgages, and lending policies. Must have proven record of building relationships with clients through effective communication skills in an outgoing and friendly manner. Exceptional attention to details and follow-thru to ensure optimum member satisfaction is essential. High School diploma or equivalent, plus formal coursework in mortgage lending required.  Apply Online
