William Mullin – SVP, Commercial Lending
Bill Mullin joined Workers Credit Union after extensive experience in the commercial and community banking arena. Bill was previously a principal at RMPI Consulting, LLC, a Boston-based risk management and consulting firm to financial institutions. Prior to joining RMPI, he was a partner and the chief operating officer for Thorndike Development Corporation, a real estate development company based in Norton.
Earlier in his career, Bill also served as a senior vice president of the former Fleet Financial Group, where he focused on real estate and other commercial lending in Massachusetts.
Bill is active in civic affairs—serving two terms as selectman in Acton and as a member of the town’s Finance Committee. He also serves on the Boards of the Friends of the Lower Fields in Acton and the Maynard High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
Bill received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College and a Master ‘s Degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
Robert Gallo – VP, Commercial Lending
Bob Gallo joined Workers Credit Union in 2007. He has over 25 years of commercial lending experience with local “community based banks” including Merchants National Bank, Worcester County Institution for Savings, and most recently with Enterprise Bank & Trust.
Bob is an active member of the community currently serving as a Trustee of the Fitchburg Art Museum, a Director of the Thayer Symphony
Orchestra, and is an active member of the Fitchburg East Rotary Club. Born and raised in Fitchburg, Bob has a keen, personal understanding of the business community’s needs and trends in his hometown and the surrounding areas.
Jeff Turcotte – VP, Commercial Lending
Jeff joined Workers in 2011 and focuses on serving business members’ commercial lending needs in Workers Eastern region. He was previously a business development officer for Middlesex Savings Bank and has over fifteen years of commercial banking experience.
Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA in business management from Fitchburg State University and is actively involved in his community. Jeff’s product focus includes commercial real estate purchase and refinance; business lines of credit; term and equipment loans; and all Small Business Association (SBA) loan programs.
Michael Demarco – VP, Commercial Lending
Michael joined Workers after previously working as vice president of commercial lending for Randolph Savings Bank; he has over ten years of business development and commercial lending experience. Michael focuses on building relationships with small and mid-sized businesses.
Michael holds a bachelor of science in business management from Westfield State University and is actively involved in his community. Michael’s product focus includes commercial real estate purchase and refinance; business lines of credit; term and equipment loans; and all Small Business Association (SBA) loan programs.
Michael Bordenca – AVP, Commercial Lending
Mike joined Workers in 2014 as AVP, Branch Manager and opened the brand new and now successful Westford Branch. Before Workers, Mike steadily rose through the ranks of the retail division of Citizens Bank for 8 years and served as a Branch Manager in the Boston area.
Mike was promoted to the Commercial Lending Team for Workers in 2016. Mike is excited by the transition, as he prides himself on providing legendary service to his business clients.
Mike currently serves as an ambassador with the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce.
