Elizabeth Hayes Named Executive Vice President and Chief Member Experience Officer
Elizabeth Hayes has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Member Experience Officer of Workers Credit Union (WCU). Hayes was most recently the President and CEO of Infinity Federal Credit Union in Portland, Maine where she worked for seven years. In her new role Hayes is responsible for leading all member facing areas, including the branch teams, PlanIt Centers, marketing, wealth management, and the credit union’s Learning and Development group.
“Liz’s talent and experience is a perfect fit for Workers Credit Union,” said Doug Petersen, President and CEO of Workers Credit Union. “Our members and staff will benefit from her strategic vision, integrity, and commitment to further enhancing WCU’s industry-leading member experience.” Hayes started her new position July 25.
Hayes has more than 20 years of experience with federal credit unions. “I am inspired by the opportunity to work with the team at Workers Credit Union to further their important mission of promoting financial wellness for their members,” Hayes said. She spent nearly 15 years at Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union in Minnesota where she held several positions including Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, Senior Vice President and Chief Relationship Officer. She earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from St. Catherine University and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Financial Services from Metro State University.
