WORCESTER, Mass. (March 28, 2025) - Worcester Red Sox mascot Woofster the Wonder Dog is helping loyal WooSox fans fetch the six targets that are part of an innovative state-of-the-art Augmented Reality (AR) game they can play at Polar Park during games this season.
Visitors to the park can download the free Woofster’s Workers Reality app to their phones to play the game, which is a virtual scavenger hunt. Fans can then sniff out the six large targets on display at different locations. Pointing their phone at each target unlocks a unique Augmented Reality visual experience featuring baseball-themed immersive content involving WooSox alumni Triston Casas, Brayan Bello, and Jarren Duran, who are now on the Boston Red Sox roster. Each target allows fans to collect a game piece. Collecting four of the game pieces makes them eligible to enter to win a real treat – a prize package that includes four season tickets for the 2026 season, the opportunity to meet a WooSox player, four people being able to take batting practice at Polar Park, customized team jerseys and more. Fans who complete the game will also get their paws on an exclusive limited edition WooSox poster.
The app for Woofster’s Workers Reality also features trivia games that test their baseball knowledge and the latest stats about WooSox players. For more information about Woofster’s Workers Reality, visit the website.
