Workers Credit Union Announces A 5-Year Partnership With The Worcester Red Sox

Just in time for opening day, Workers Credit Union is announcing a new partnership with the Worcester Red Sox. “Teaming up with the WooSox reflects our commitment to Worcester and the greater region we mutually serve,” says Elizabeth Hayes, Workers Credit Union Executive Vice President and Chief Member Experience Officer. “We’re honored to be a significant partner to such a major contributor to the city’s economy and culture, and one with whom we share so many common values.” The Littleton-based credit union partnership arrangement with the team is for five years.

Leading off the partnership will be Workers Reality, an exciting, state-of-the-art Augmented reality game. The name reflects both the growing popularity of Augmented reality and how Workers Credit Union is making its members’ dreams a Reality through Workers Way™ financial coaching, a full range of member-friendly products and services, and technology that takes the friction out of banking.

“We’re grateful to Workers Credit Union for their support of our team,” says Jack Verducci, Worcester Red Sox Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Sales. “We are excited for the launch of Workers Reality, allowing fans to experience the game in a whole new way.”

Starting in late April, Worcester Red Sox fans will be able to play the game to earn valuable prizes any time they are at Polar Park, including the Ultimate Prize Package, which includes four 2024 season tickets, meet and greets with the players, customized team jerseys and more.  Workers Reality is a team effort involving Workers Credit Union, the Worcester Red Sox, and LinkToVR. The group was brought together by LTIBusinessSolutions.com.
